NEW YORK – July 11, 2016 – National Home Health Care Corp. (“National Home Health”), a leading provider of home healthcare services, announced today it has named Stan Dennis as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Dennis succeeds Steven Fialkow, who is retiring after 33 years with the company but will remain on the company’s board. National Home Health is a portfolio company of Blue Wolf Capital Partners LLC (“Blue Wolf”), which, through an affiliate, purchased the company in March 2016.
National Home Health, headquartered in Scarsdale, NY, is one of the nation’s leading regional home care services companies, providing needed care to over 10,000 patients with long-term healthcare requirements each day across New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Services include nursing care, personal care and other specialized health initiatives, such as cognitive care and rehabilitation services.
Mr. Dennis has nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry. Before joining National Home Health, he was a senior operating executive at private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe. Previously, Mr. Dennis served as President and COO of naviHealth, where he built a leading national post-acute care business based on strong partnerships with both providers and health plans. Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Vice President of Optum and CEO of Local Care Delivery, United Health Group’s Physician Enterprise. His tenure includes C-suite roles at Texas Health Resources, Allina Health System, Phycor/NAMM and Anthem Health Plans. Mr. Dennis has a BS degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Rivier College.
Adam Blumenthal, Managing Partner of Blue Wolf, said, “We are excited to welcome Stan to National Home Health at a time when home based care is playing a transformative role in health care delivery. Stan is a nationally recognized leader in building businesses based on new models of care. His demonstrated track record of success, along with our expertise, will position National Home Health for expanded operations and services, as well as geographic growth, while providing exceptional care for patients and a supportive working environment for employees as we seek to build value for investors. We also thank Steven for his many years spent building a best-in-class company, and we are pleased that he will continue as a valued advisor and director.”
Mr. Dennis added, “The home health care sector will play an increasingly important role as ACA and value based trends drive high quality care to lower cost settings. I look forward to working with Blue Wolf and the team at National Home Health to build new partnerships, cement the company’s reputation as a leader in the industry and expand the depth and breadth of services to the patients we are privileged to serve.”
